Email problem

Hi everyone,
Looks like there might be a problem with the email/SMTP in the latest (1.0.4) version of Sharetronix. Our developers are working hard to resolve the issue if there is such. Next version will be out soon.

    Abid Malik Yes, when somebody sign in, they are suppose to get an email but no email is sent out. where we can define the SMTP server?

    Thiago Ramos I created a new version of my site using shareTronix in the first tests I did everything went well, but now I noticed that some users are having problems in time to confirm the register, I tested an email from yahoo and to now the email was not even in spambox..     EDY By the way this script looks great but more features need to be added to it. I was testing the admin panel, if you set someone as admin that person can delete the default administrator easy .This is not a good idea to allow users to delete default admin. Is there somehow we can have default untouchable by any moderators or admins? Maybe cms would help here.. for example if the site owners want to create extra page like.. about ,advertising it would make sense for them to have that cms ready for them . about mobile: is there somehow we can have it use as a sub domain like m.site.com or mobile.site.com ? more option to the site members to set their post or page private. like if u don't want other people to read up your blogs , or see their blogs... or hide their blogs from search...

    noname Hello, to make email working you need find this in this folder: /system/helpers edit function_main.php file, find this line: return mail( $email, $subject, '', $headers, '-f'.$C->SYSTEM_EMAIL ); and replace by this line: return mail( $email, $subject, '', $headers ); Good job.

    Lorenzo I also get this huge points in spamassassin whenever a notification is being sent. Here they are: 3.4 FH_DATE_PAST_20XX The date is grossly in the future. 2.0 FROM_EXCESS_BASE64 From: base64 encoded unnecessarily Any advice? Thanks

    Behrooz Hi, I Have a Problem on sending invitation by email. it shows an error on the top of the page --> Warning: mail() [function.mail]: Bad parameters to mail() function, mail not sent. in /home/content/b/e/h/behroozrabiei/html/Fibuchi-com/choqok/system/helpers/func_main.php on line 153 and it does not send any invitation.. it just shows an error on the top of the page and on it shows with the green label that it send it.. but nothing will send.     SuperX In some cases the sender will be like this "@bb.com". I think it might not follow RFC properly. Now I've rewrited the do_send_mail function ,using phpmailer class instead of mail(), and works fine with my own postfix smtp server.

    Hemanth I have the same problem but when the email is sent it is displaying all the headers with out the body .. i mean the activation link is not sent...and the headers are displayed in the body
